Kids and your household
How do I add, edit or remove a kid?
On the Kids page. You can change a name, grade, school or activities anytime. “Remove” takes a kid off your Home page. Nothing is deleted, and new email is no longer matched to them. To bring a kid back, send us a note.
Why does ParentDeck ask for school and activities?
School tells us which district calendar to add and which senders to forward. Activities help match team emails, like cheer or soccer, to the right kid.
Do I need to update grades each year?
Yes, for now. Update the grade on the Kids page when the school year changes.
How do I invite the other parent?
In Settings, under “Household”, enter their email. They get an invitation to join your household. Only the parent who set up the household can invite.
What does the other parent see?
The same kids, emails and calendars. Done, Hide and “Who is this for?” are shared. Each parent has their own sign-in and their own morning email setting.
Can I change our household name or time zone?
Yes, on the Kids page. The time zone decides what counts as “today” and when the morning email arrives.
